Hi , i got a ip cam connected to a router. in the location where it is installed they turn on and of the power every evening.

so one day i wanted to check out my cam.. but there was no connectivity. so i put out the power cable of the cam. put it back. nothing happened.
so i plugged out and in the ethernet cable of the cam(i mean the connection to the router) and it worked again!

WHY?

may it has something to do with the ip adress stuff?

thank you :D

It could very well be.
Is the camera network set to DHCP, where it asks the router for an IP address from the pool, which can vary?
Or is it configured with a static IP address - which is preferred as it puts it in a known location on the network?

I will power it constantly...
The company told me so.by turning on off the power it even could reset itself!

+1, always use static and reserve out the address on your router, helps when power goes down etc.
