So how many of you would call and ask (or "verify") that it was a police vehicle?

The police occasionally drive through my neighborhood with their lights off . . . they're checking the area because someone called about something.

Very common around here when going to certain calls for a total blackout/no sirens so as not to alert potential criminals of law enforcement arriving.
