My clip viewer is on the right panel as always but it isn't scrolling or showing any new clips. The cams are recording to the appropriate folder but no clips?

the number of clips in my view is enormous. wonder if too many and I can delete? I start a fresh folder for all new recordings and jpegs every day.

There are some known bugs with 2.1...this is another example of why you should not be updating every time an update is pushed...I update primary systems every few months--if that...and i wait for the update to be out for at least a week before installing it.
Are the clips missing from the folder? or just not showing in the application...

Did you restart blue iris or the pc? What do you mean by I start a fresh folder each day? are you manually moving files?

I see old clips no new ones. Since I could not get my new files to move to the storage folder, I make a new folder with today's date, and then in the clips and arvhiving page assign new to the new folder I just created, and on each cam's record page, it is assigned to new, then I reboot and all the video and jpegs go to today's folder. I cannot get any files to move into storage.

basically I just have all cams record to "new", and then in clips and arvhiving I assign "new" to a folder I create each day, then just have one folder per day with everything. No matter what I do I can't get the system to move files to the storage folder

I have no idea...maybe the database is corrupt...repair and regenerate it...
Moving the folders manually is a lot of unnecessary work that you should not have to be doing.....email support to figure out why its happening...my guess is that you have something set wrong..like the recording folder in the cameras settings is not the same folder as the "new" folder you are setting up in the webserver....if you want to do a teamviewer session i can check it out..

Well it must be the right folder because the videos and jpeg snaps are going to the folder I assigned it to. If you really want to take the time for team viewer that's fine but I hate to take up your time.

I just set the program to compact and repair the db now - never had it set before and the clips data file was over 30 gb
