Non 'C' type model firmware?

Hi all,

I recently upgraded to a new Accusense NVR DS-7608NXI-I2/8P/S and a few Accusense cameras DS-2CD2H86G2-IZS, both of these were purchased at the same time as Hikvision released the C type models. I was advised that the C type modesl were due to a chip shortage and they were actually lower spec units compared to the non C type.

However I've noticed that there have been a few firware updates to the C models and when I search now on the Hikvision site for non C model firware I can't find anything, not even the original firmware.

Does anyone know what is happening?

Thanks Alastair I managed to find them that way, looks like they haven't done any updates for six months for them, but several for the newer ''C' versions. Really does feel like the've discontinued support on them.
