Supposedly, it provides a more secured online shopping experience. But when do merchants are ever so concerned about customers.
I'm somewhat suspect about an internet security company's intentions. Maybe another data collection gizmo or maybe not.

For what its worth, I used the guarantee when the price of a watch I purchased fell by 25 dollars. They paid.
