Notification if the cameras are down. iDMSS Plus

Hello everyone.

as the title says. I would like to know how to turn on a notification on such event. I get motion detection sometimes when I turn the power off my cameras but only sometimes. The event on the NVR is video loss and I can get an email for that. But I want a notification from the app just like the motion detection notification. For example if someone cut the wires on my camera. Also if I can get a notification if my internet went down.

If your internet goes down, the only way you'll get notification is if you use a cell connection for backup.

If the cameras respond to ping, you could write a little program to ping them all every so often and report the results to a server on the internet somewhere.
