NVR forget the password

Hey guys,

I have an nvr DS-7716NI forget the password, tried the SADP, but can't search the device, we use the SADP for other device works well.
Any guys can help for this.

Hikvision camera admin password reset tool
Seems to have the ability to do this, depending on the firmware version.
Is the firmware new enough (3.4.90 or newer) that it has the 'lost password' button on the web GUI? Perhaps someone has already used it and set the security questions to something you might know.

Also, installing the same firmware with the Hikvision tftp updater will clear the configuration back to 'Inactive'.
Odd though that SADP cannot see it. Suggests it may be more than a password problem.
Does the web GUI logon / VGA?HDMI interface look normal?

Thanks buddy, yes, it looks the same as normal.

Can't detect the NVR, very strange
