Hello
I need some help
I am installing a GW-NVR2216e NVR with Nano M5s (updated firmware)
4 buildings 4 cameras on each building total of 16 cameras
my problem is I can only get 1 camera from each building to come up
if I manually inter the IP address of another camera the NVR Duplicates IP
address I have the NVR and camera on the same gateway and subnet
I just don't understand why I only get 1 camera from each building...
the cameras and NVR is the same manufacture...I have never had this problem
before any help would be greatly appreciated..

That's a PoE NVR?
How are the cameras all wired?
Are they each individually wired to the NVR?
Or do you have them to a switch in each building then connecting the switch uplink to an NVR PoE port? If so, that would explain your symptoms.

I didn't recognise what you meant by Nano M5 - I do now.
I think you need a switch at the NVR, connect it's LAN port and the Nano M5s also.

The NVR only has a LAN port I plugged that into the switch that has the Nano M5 plugged into it picks up 1 camera from each building
When I try adding other cameras it duplicates the ip cameras that the NVR picked up
Doesn't make any sense at all I have been threw all programing updated all firmware on all devices to the latest firmware available
I have been doing this for more then 20yrs this one has me really stumped

That does sound strange.
Can you access each camera web GUI individually from the LAN that the NVR is connected to?
And maybe also ping camera IP address each individually?

Yes I can
Also the camera software picks up all of the cameras
The NVR and Cameras are the same manufacturer
