NVR losing static IP-address

This camera is attached to an external switch correct? Not using the NVR built in PoE ports?

@mat200 the logfiles are not showing unexpected reboots. Nope, it's not connected to a UPS but with the original power adapter.
Wednesday I manually rebooted the NVR 3-4 times and kept the DHCP address.

Let's hope that the changes of my last post have a positive effect.

@bigredfish , all (2) camera's are directly connected using PoE to the NVR.
One of the RJ-45 connectors has been replaced a couple of months ago due to faulty connectivity. This is since then stable and keeps recording also when the NVR's IP-address is being lost. So the recording settings are intact and the Playback feature works perfectly.

Ok, well that adds questions as the PoE ports on the NVR by default use the NVR internal switch and a separate secure subnet of 10.1.1.x

So you changed the subnet on the internal switch to match your LAN IP range? This has been known to create problems.

Or did you toggle the “Bridge mode” button on the switch?

It's correct that the NVR internal switch uses the 10.1.1.X subnet for the PoE camera's. This always has been the case and never changed.

I am not familiar with the Bridge Mode switch button on any switch. I assume you mean the Dahua NVR bridge mode which I need to search for. Haven't heard of it before.

Cool

Thus far everything keeps working. 7 days or 168 hours have passed since my last changes as I wrote on the 5th of June.

The NVR is still on DHCP within the 192.168.2.X scope. I will wait until the end of this weekend and update later.
