@EMPIRETECANDY will always get firmware updates before they appear on the Dahua web sites... I believe he has access to contacts within Dahua and feeds information back to their engineers & R&D and therefore gets early and pre-release updates

Yes, that is right. I can access to their firmware server easily, so can check out easily if any update. The website guys are lazy, never update. All resource here is for free, no matter if you buy from us or not. Buy from us always get the best support, lol.

Hi

I have the new version install and everything seems to be working great minus I have one problem. I can watch live streams fine when I am on my home network but when I access it when I am away, I can get to the webpage and do everything except to get a live stream to start. I assume I need to port forward another port but can't figure out what else is needed. Any suggestions?

You just need port 37777 to see your cam streaming with gDMSS Plus
 
Agreed on 37777 and I can access the cameras with other apps outside my home network just the new NVR update I can't access the live stream outside my home network. To be clear, everything else works in the new 4.X firmware outside the home network(DDNS).

Just an FYI if anyone else runs into this issue, by enabling 443 in ports on the NVR and port forwarding that on my router and now it's working perfectly!

Anyone has tried the DH_NVR4XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V4.000.0000001.3.R.191016 ?
 
@Wildcat_1 I've tested the DH_NVR5XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V4.000.0000001.1.R.20191016.bin on some 5208/5216's, but I was referring to the NVR 4XXX-4KS2 (which ends with 1.3), not the 5XXX-4KS2 (which ends with 1.1), unless you have the 1.3 for the 5XXX series ...:)
 
@redfive my bad, yes it’s the 5xxx 1.1 I’m testing and getting a lot of bugs together on not 4xxx. Can tell it’s a Monday ;)

Even here is monday .... :( :) Anyway, I've found some bugs as well, for now, reverted back to previous version (1.0)
 
So, I updated to version 4. Looking good and I'm mainly curious to the SMD-function, while the normal Motion Detection is not really good. But I can't get the SMD working!

When I go to the web interface, select 'AI', 'parameters' and then click 'SMD' I get for all Channels this error: Channel XDoes not support configuration search or modification!

What can I do to bypass this error and setup SMD? I'm really needing it :)

Here are my specs:

NVR4108-8P-4KS2
1x Dahua SD1A203T-GN
2x Dahua SD22404T-GN
 
@neignl the problem is the cams you mentioned above don’t support SMD according to their specs. As I mentioned above, the NVR can only use functions supported by the cams. Therefore you will not be able to enable SMD for cam channels where the camera does not support it.

Is there MultiLang_V4.000.0000001.2.R.20191101 firmware available for this one?
 
Could anyone tell me if this firmware works with Dahua N41B1P2 4K NVR. I dont see it listed on the models. I got the firmware update from Dahuawiki page, and ive already installed it before reading this website. Everything seems to work fine and it accepted the update.

I installed this update: DH_NVR4XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V4.000.0000001.2.R.190929.bin
