I have multiple cameras I think I've bricked. I've used the tftp app before so I'm somewhat familiar with that. I'm wondering where I get the older versions to upload with the tftp app.

It states in the instructions to rename the file to digcap.dav not digicap.dav Is that a typo?

It states to put my firmware in the same folder. Where do I get valid firmware for my cameras. I have several that are all different part numbers.

Thanks,
Tom

Well, without knowing what model of cameras, or what region of cameras, but guessing that they are Hikvision cameras, you could start here:
HIKVISION EUROPE
Large number of choices with many back issues of firmware.

It is an eu model, read the Excel File at the link from above and you find the Firmware for your Modell.
Example:

DS-2CD2632F is R0 --> HIKVISION EUROPE

Note the 5.4. Has a downgrade lock

Ok. I just about gave up then rebooted my PC and now the camera shows up in SADP. I did the MTD hack and its working.

BUt, The alarm is going off constantly. how do I disable that? I went into PIR and turned off whatever I could find.

any ideas on this?

thanks
Tom

Advanced Configuration | Basic Event and go along the tabs unticking 'Audible Warning' in Linkage of any event you don't want a warning for.
Under Exception there is a dropdown.
