Onvif motion detection

Hi Guys,

What do you know about the ONVIF S protocol? How send the motion detection on Onvif S protocol the IPC?
It sends the motion metadata continuously or just the start and the end of the motion?

It can do both, from what I've seen on various brands of camera. The Hikvision NVRs don't seem to care either way.
