Masks are nothing more than virtue signaling. The "how much worse it would be without them" argument is a pointless argument not supported by empirical facts as demonstrated in that link. I do wonder exactly how mask wearing results in a higher infection rate. I don't see it as impossible, but do wonder how that happens.
Exactly. I'd like some data on how many people got it while wearing a mask, and only went out because they had this false sense of security. I'll hold my breath on that data becoming available. But if a couple of mask opponents (Chris Christie) get sick without a mask, the media runs with it.
