Person Throws Beer Bottle At My House

This random car threw a beer bottle at my house. I filed a report with the LAPD and they refuse to do anything even though I have the car's license plate. They said since nothing was damaged it's not a crime. I told them so I can go to your house, throw a bottle and nothing will happen to me. They said it doesn't meet the "elements of a crime".

We don't have any enemies that we know of, I'm hoping it was just a random drunk person from the bar not far away.

Apparently, littering is not an enforceable crime in LA County.

Even if the LAPD or you send them notice of infraction, the perps will know who, or at least where they live, reported it and likely try to escalate the situation.
