Hi,

So I bought two of these cameras (IPC-HFW5421EP-Z) recently and one right off the back did not have a clear crisp picture (it look faded and pixelated and when someone would walk by or myself it would really pixelate . I notice the firmware on this camera is 2.400. but all the other cameras that I got including the same model is 2.460. Would anyone know where to get the updated firmware 2.460.? Or have any tips or tricks to getting the correct firmware? Thanks

change between UDP and TCP probably packet loss, also test with a different cable ( did you use solid copper or CCA copper clad aluminum)also confirm settings same as cameras that function i.e noise reduction etc.

Okay I will try as soon as I get home from work but I have tried with different cat 5 cables and it made no difference

II don't know where the UDP and TCP is -is it under camera -image or encode?

I just send a newER firmware for you, if still can't work, we send a new one for you and the defective one, you use a cheap way ship to HK. Sorry for the inconvenience

I probably should of mentioned that I plug in the same exact identical model camera in the same location using the same wire and it comes in clear then I unplug the cord from that good camera into the bad camera (same identical model) but it comes in clear and pixelates especially when someone walks by for example .
