Hello All, I have the latest Blue Iris and I have a dedicated LPR camera, IPC-HFW5231E-Z5. This camera is set to continuously record 24/7. I noticed that when I playback the time line, it would skip 5 seconds or more. Why is that? I go through frame by frame and I'm looking at the seconds and for the most part, the seconds advances but then jumps ahead by 5 or more seconds. I have missed a few cars because of this and had to rely on my Lorex cameras to see that in fact a Car did pass by in front of this LPR camera but it failed to record it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Here's my record settings. I've set the FPS to 30 fps. It was at 25 but it doesn't seem to make a difference. In the camera hardware, it's set to 30 fps, should I match it in Blue Iris?

The Max rate was set to 30, why is it changing to 33 on its own?

Match the iframe interval to the frame rate...also 30 fps is a waste

Thanks fenderman, what fps do you suggest for LPR? I assume higher FPS is more taxing on CPU? What use case would high FPS be applicable?
