Playing back a timeline when my BI compter was turned off

Yesterday I turned my BI computer off for about 30 minutes, today when I went back to see how BI handles this situation, the timeline indicates there is a recording up until a turn my computer back on, then there is a small break, I guess maybe the delay in recording after BI starts a service ( that's my setting).


When I playback the time I was not recording, BI shows the last recorded frame before shutdown, during the entire window of time computer was off. Is this normal? Was BI always like this?

BTW, if I stop the service, and wait, and then restart, the timeline for playback show what you'd expect, no recording.

If you are using combine and cut, it will show recording during times when there is no recording present but the file was open..the only way around it is not to use combine and cut.
