I an running chrome Version 80.0.3987.106 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Linux Mint 19.1
I keep getting the same problem over and over again with accessing my Hilook ip camera via the web interface.
I login and then get:
Please click here to download and install the plug-in. Close the browser when installing the plug-in.
I click and save the file. I have to copy it to ~/.wine/drive_c/windows.
I do NOT close the browser.
cp LocalServiceComponents.exe ~/.wine/drive_c/windows
I then run it under wine from a terminal and it installs.
wine ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/LocalServiceComponents.exe
I then refresh the browser and it works.
If I had closed the browser before installing the plugin it doesn't work.
With the browser still running I can control the focus/zoom/pan etc without problems.
Once I close the browser and start it again it fails and I have to do the install again.
What on earth is going on here!!!
