I have 4 5mp ip cameras going over nanostations Iam using a 10/100 POE and the cameras keep dropping out will a gigabit switch help

Without knowing more, you could be using up to 400Mbps. So yes, a gigabit switch wouldn't hurt.

uh, nanostations are not GigE, and your bandwidth bottleknecks are likely the wireless.. usinga Gigabit switch wont do a damn thing.

Make sure your using the right kind of injector for the nanostations and not the typical 48 volt , I think they use 24 volt poe. Make sure you have good line of sight and your settings are correct...

what are your cam's FPS, iframes & most importantly, bitrates set at?

the cameras are each connected via nanostations to the switch?
Or the switch is connected to the rest of the network via nanostations?
