Everything is in the title.
We do not see the faces of night (15 feet) and I blur during movement ... Any suggestions of configuration?
My camera is a Dahua IPC-HDBW4421E (4 megapixels) 2,8mm
Thank you in advance

you need to go into black and white mode or the IR cut filter wont open and the IR night vision wont be usable.. change the day/night from colorful to auto.

Hello,
I switched from color to black and white night, but I have to say that the picture quality is not much better and I still have a blur during movement. Someone could advise me of the settings?
Note that I have access to advanced camera settings, but I need help :)

That blur is caused by noise reduction set high...lower it, also what is your exposure setting?

change 3D Noise reduction down from 50% to 33% at night, and then play with the exposure setting if its still a problem..

Hey, it's done. The motion blour disappeared by reducing the "3D NR level" at 30. Playing with exposure, as in 1/15, that's fine (left photo), but not have to move, otherwise it ruins everything and 1/30, it's too dark distance. In the end I chose the default settings 50 everywhere except the "3D NR level" at 30 (right photo).

Do DAHUA they make better camera for the night?
Where would I have chosen 3.6 mm instead of 2.8 mm for a better view of details / face? If any, would you recommend to opt for varifocal Dahua camera? http://www.aliexpress.com/item/DAHUA-IPC-HDBW5421E-Z-4MP-Full-HD-WDR-Vandalproof-2-8mm-12mm-varifocal-lens-ip-camera/32530338717.html?ws_ab_test=searchweb201556_10,searchweb201602_5_10017_507_401_10040,searchweb201603_1&btsid=955e223c-57f8-49ac-b359-470a0ac24a73

Again, thank you guys

This is a better Dahua for night vision- http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/DAHUA-2MP-Starlight-WDR-Ultra-smart-Network-Bullet-Camera-with-4-8mm-Motorized-Lens-without-Logo/1114243_32492038993.html

Look for the Dahuas with the 1.9" Exmor sensors.

I'd recommend adding an external IR illuminator or bright floodlights before upgrading cameras though. Something like this to match your camera's FOV would help a lot. 850nm and 90 degree spread would match that 2.8mm lens fairly well. 940nm would be more covert but has little throw in the 90 degree version. Cams don't see 940nm as well as 850nm, but 940nm LEDs are invisible to the naked eye. No red glow. http://www.aliexpress.com/item/850nm-740nm-940nm-28W-IR-illuminator-Infrared-Lamp-invisible-IR-light-with-Aluminum-material-night-vision/32283202560.html

Also, consider adding another camera with a longer lens to get a close up face shot. 6mm at least, and maybe angle it crossing the front of the house to get a straight face shot of those walking. Consider 12mm for a longer crossing shot, although that might give a great closeup of the backs of their heads 50% of the time. Extra cams will also throw more IR light for the other cameras to use.
