i have got some help trying to get some ip cameras to be seen on the tiny cam app and with help from a few i got them to go at home but they just will not show away from home. so this is what i have to find out to make sure i'm doing it correctly.

the 2 cameras that are giving my fits are suppose to be onvif cameras some say they are not. but when i run a scan tinycam says they are onvif. the nvr says they are port 8080 tiny cam say 1600 but i guess i'm just stumped at this point.
so how do you port forward correctly?

if i just go into the router and say do an ftp as that is what it starts out with and the add the ip and then do tcp/udp so i have both covered, or do i have to do let say one cam is x.x.x.24 and 8080 port can i just do ftp tcp/udp 8080 and that is it or do i have to do one for rtsp 554 also.

my route only lets me do 1 ip address with 1 port. i can't do 554 with the x.x.24 and then 8080 x.x.x.24

i have 5 other neo coolcam i[ cameras the i have given each there own port and tinycam see them perfect. but these so called onvif cams will not work outside the home. what am i doing wrong? is there any goo you tubes that show just how do hook these cameras up? on the router? i have watched a ton of them and tried to follow the lesons and it is just not working.

i do not need then to hook up to the nvr that was just so i could record i need them so i can see things when i gone.

also when i have them working on the app at home and i try to see them away they then stop working when i get home. so i'm really confused why.

what i guess i need to do is try to get more neocool cam units if i can find any they work perfect. thanks

If they run through the NVR, you won't be able to access them remotely using tinycam. Use the app for your NVR.

i get them on the nvr but not steady the whole reason i got the nvr was to record the cameras, it looks like that is not going to happen and tinycam is on ond off with them. so it looks like i got taken for a rie on this setup. no one has an answer. alex does not help much either, might be he can't the reason i use tinycam is so i do not have to use half dozen different apps.

i get tinycam to work and then the next time i try to use it away then when i get back the cams fail. so i'm going to setup a dvr that is wired to analog cams of which i have a bunch of spares and just ue them. they have worked flawlessly for years. i'm done with the nvr setup. they are going onebay tomorrow so i can get something back for them. and then i will be done with this messing around with people telling me that work and i find out they don't. so don't waste your money.

For ONVIF cameras you need to forward both ONVIF and RTSP port.
