I saw way too many similar outcomes in a vehicle vs. pole confrontation. The larger traffic signal poles with long mastarms fare better becomes of their thick, sturdy structural design and deep, massive foundations but the less sturdy street light poles usally get knocked down or are damaged so badly they must be replaced.
