Preferred Email Provider for Pictures

Yes. Some of them have a microSD card slot, so you can insert a microSD card and record to that. But any of them can record to a network drive (NFS/SMB/CIFS) or an FTP server. Honestly the best results though come from running surveillance software on a PC.

Thanks for the info. I keep seeing/hearing recommendations for Blue Iris. I will have to look into purchasing a copy of it. The software will give me complete control of the camera to setup motion pictures and videos?

Blue Iris is a good choice if you have a fast windows PC to run it on. Be sure to try the trial version first to get a feel for how much CPU it uses. I would not say it gives you control of the camera. A lot of settings like the video resolution, frame rate, and video quality still have to be adjusted through the camera's web interface. What Blue Iris provides is a centralized system for viewing/recording/playing video from all your cameras under a single interface.
