Hello Community,
I have a problem when using DMSS (Dahua) for iOS devices.
1. XVR has 16 cameras
2. XVR has 5 cameras
Explanation of the video in the appendix:
1) DMSS version is shown
2) When swiping in the 16-channel view on page 2/2, the cameras from the 2nd XVR are not displayed, as if it were offline
3) Same behavior when swiping in the 4-channel view on page 5/8, the cameras from the 2nd XVR are not displayed, as if it were offline
3) Here you can see that access to the 2nd XVR works when only 2nd XVR is selected
Based on the symptoms, I assume that this is a bug in the DMSS app for iOS devices. These problems occur on different devices in the WiFi network as well as in the mobile 4G / 5G network (signal coverage 90 to 100%), so no one can claim that the whole thing is a network problem.
The DMSS worked perfectly until mid-June 2024. Then I received an update and since then I have had this problem.
Although the system works with P2P, after several contacts, the distributor's support was obviously overwhelmed with my problem and suggested that I have to make some "fantasy" settings of the ports of my router.
Because the distributor could not solve my problem, I contacted Dahua DACH support. Dahua support has been dealing with this problem for 1 week. Today, Dahua support asked me to set up the user test access because the technician supposedly has to simulate the behavior at Dahua.
Has anyone observed similar or the same problem when using two XVRs or does anyone know a solution?
Regards,
cam-da
