I have a 7716 DVR with 12 cameras. I have 2 2032's, 2 2335's and 8 2142's.

I got the 2 2032's programmed with IP's of 192.168.254.2 and 192.168.254.3.
I got the 2 2335's programmed with IP's of 192.168.254.4 and 192.168.254.5.

The DVR recognizes these 4 above cameras and works fine with them.

The 2142's I got have the new feature where the security is disabled until you reset the password. So I reset the password to a secure password similar to ABC1234##. I set the IP address to 192.168.254.8 and used the same gateway I used with the other 4 (192.168.254.1). The changes were saved successfully in SADP. However when I try to access the camera using the DVR or i-VMS-4200, I can't access it. I get an error in VMS4200 of "This device is offline or the network is timed out". The DVR seems to recognize the camera, but the "Status" is "Not Connected" instead of "Connected and Support Preview Here" like the other cameras. I have attached a pic of the DVR screen.

Any idea why these new cameras won't work like the others I set successfully? Anything I can try? I have tried 3 of the 2142's so I know its a problem other than the actual camera itself. I purchased all of these from Hikvision on Amazon. They are all US models.

Thanks for any help.

Hikvision does not sell on amazon...if someone claimed to be hikvision, they lied to you...these still may be US region (you need to check)..who was the seller?

Well I could have sworn the sellers name was Hikvision, but after looking again it isn't, the item says "by Hikvision" under the title. The seller is CCTVONE. Link below. The serial number on one of the cams is 537773878 CAN ICES-3. All English writing on the label.

How are you seeing the cameras with SADP or the browser when they are connected to the PoE ports? Presumably not, did you only do that when the cameras were temporarily on the LAN?
What firmware version is in use on the DVR?
There is a minimum requirement of firmware for the 2142 cameras - though I'm not sure what that is for your specific DVR.

Correct, I was using SADP and the browser when connected directly to LAN.

Thank you again. Updated the firmware in the NVR from 3.1.x to 3.3.4 and everything is working perfect now.
