Reminds me of a recent Scott Adams episode. He talks about how Republicans are perfectly fine with no complaints... until they aren't. He contrasts this with Democrats who are constantly complaining all the time. Men tend to be one type, while women tend to be the other type. He also talks about "hunting" for resources vs "gathering" them. Here's the episode and I think the relevant part is at about the 1hr mark (just a little past).
