IMO, anyone that was working before the COVID-related layoffs and who opted to NOT return to that job when called by the former employer should NOT get the continued unemployment benefits.....
A VERY successful Chik-Fil-A near me hasn't been able to open fully in February as planned because they can't find enough people to come back to staff all positions...they're getting paid to stay home! I know this for a fact because the owner-operator, who is a friend of mine, told me this.
I've heard this scenario has played out across the country for over 7 months now.

EDIT: 7/17 @ 2246 hrs CT: To clarify, their drive-thru was opened but they could not open the dining room; not enough counter persons, cleaners, order fillers, etc.
