Prospective Cameras

Hi guys,

Is there a new camera that you guys are anxiously waiting for a review to see how the camera performs? If so, why are you drawn to it?

I am still trying to figure out what cameras I need to purchase and I am curious if there are some promising models to look at.

Also, are there any thoughts on the national defense act with the restrictions that are being placed on some of the Chinese camera manufacturers? Specifically, do you think there will be a significant delay in some products being brought to market using current processors, etc?

The new Dahua Ultra AI series, especially the 4MP. The minimum illumination with the 1/1.8 sensor is the next step up in low light performance from the 52xx series. And the AI capabilities like ANPR and vehicle/human attributes put greater intelligence at the camera.

So far we've not seen any problems getting products.

Where do you buy these products? Or is linking to commercial sites frowned upon here? Just wondering where people usually buy cameras at, I'm new and it was clear to get a refurbished PC off ebay, but now that I am thinking about getting cameras not so sure where to go. The above link is just manufacturer page with no link to buy it, or price!

IMO, most folks here use Dahua and buy from a great forum vendor named Andy (@EMPIRETECANDY).
