Hello, I have been trying for week to figure out why all a sudden I am not receiving push notifications on my Iphone, IPhone has the latest software, Blue iris is up to date, and I have uninstalled the server from my phone and re-added it. When I run the test from the alerts page, it says push to phone "OK" but nothing is coming thru. I do get a notifications when I leave the geo-fence but no sound with it. Alerts have no sound or pictures. Also I have uninstalled and re-installed cameras but that has not helped. I have also uninstalled the app itself from the phone. I have checked all settings in the phone and went by Verizon to make sure. What am I missing here? Thanks

I also am experiencing this problem. It just started last night.
I have done all of the above - restart everything, reinstall and reconnect mobile app, roll back blue iris to 5.9.9.43 from 5.9.9.45 / 5.9.9.48
I sent an email to support.

Anyone else suddenly not getting push that were otherwise working OK?

Working on Android 15 with my Pixel 7, latest stable version of BI running, notices seem slow, like 30 seconds after event trigger, they use to be instantaneous.

Thats the first thing that i noticed was the long delay in notifications they I just quit getting them all togother.

Some extra info. Have been having the same issue. Have tried every conceivable action to fix, both on Blue Iris server and iPhone app side. Log shows notifications pushed ok but nothing on phone.

Just got this back from BI Support:

Also, see this thread:

So now I can stop spending all day troubleshooting...

PS - sorry for posting the link to Reddit, didn't realize it had already been shared

Wish I had read this thread before, would have saved me doing all the things you tried... I even restored a server backup from a week or so ago with an earlier version of BI...

This just in from Support:

Good news! The 5.9.9.49 release resolves the issue with push notifications.

Please note, you will need to update to version 5.9.9.49 as previous versions are not updated.

Has anyone heard back from support on this yet?
Support notified me to update to 5.9.9.49 which was sent out today. I did the updates but nothing was resolved. Still have the same problems. Had firewall and router settings check today too. Everything looked fine. Back to square one. I will give it a couple of days and reach out to support again.

The update worked in my case for fixing the notifications, but a new issue has appeared, 3 times in the last 12h or so.

The log shows
Restarted after unexpected shutdown (5.9.9.49/1500/240)

and the Windows Event Viewer

Has anyone else found this? I will reach out to Ken again with this new issue and update here. I have never seen this error before and it started shortly after updating to .49

Have not seen this, Mine still says sent to phone ok, but nothing is coming thru.

So, it seems the update fixed notifications for me but causes Blue Iris to crash (at least a dozen times today) and for you it didn't fix the notifications... ‍

Blue Iris is a complex piece of software and the fix was issued fast, I suppose some sort of regression error is possible... when I hear back from support I will post here in case anyone else runs across the same issue
