Yes, one can see it. But if it was the original white, I think it would be way more visible than it is right now. However in broad daylight you can see the camera from the front

I agree, It would really standout if I had left it in the original colors.Yes, one can see it. But if it was the original white, I think it would be way more visible than it is right now.
Or you use the human and vehicle AI in the camera itself and have BI pull the ONVIF triggers and then no problem since you are not using BI motion detection!yes, for swaying the wind, you may find it helpful to adjust BI's 'reset motion detection' in the trigger/object-tracking page...
Oh, if she's like mine, she may not notice the camera right away but she will notice you've been working on something but NOT on the "Honey-Do" list!Interesting thing is that my wife has been out of town for a couple of days while I have been doing this installation. I want to see how long it takes before she notices the camera.
Yes a gel. Reminds me of dielectric silicone grease. I assume it is part of the waterproofing for the underground cable.gel?
You are not the first. I have found many members here on Google maps. However I will not name them. You shouldn't take pictures with street names. I found you in less then a minute in Google maps.
D Gel is the best cleaner for the underground cable filler.Yes the Gel filling is the waterproofing. It is supposedly flammable, though I never tested it. I used a cleaner designed for that gel.

Not sure on the tree outside of it being a pine tree. Maybe a Monterey Pine Tree? It was there when we bought the house in 1977.Nothing to add besides great job and taking the time to share with the members.
BTW: What kind of tree is the camera sitting in?
Got mine from Grainger.Usually your local telco splicer can help you out with some.
