I currently have the Q-SEE K8CN1.1 NVR / Camera set. But it is really Uniview hardware. By default, the system is hardcoded to the Q-SEE cloud web address (q-seecloud.com). You can't change it in the GUI. But as you know, Q_SEE is out of business, thus that web address is invalid. The alternative is to use star4live.com (Uniview's cloud service). The star4live cloud service does recognize my serial hardware serial number when I enter it in manually, thus I am good there for registration. However, because the NVR is hardcoded to q-seecloud.com, it will never be able tp sync up with Uniview's cloud service.
Does anyone know how to force a Q-SEE NVR to redirect its cloud web address/link to Unview's cloud web address? I have tried to telnet into the NVR to see if i can change host file, but the file system is not accessible.
Ever since QSEE has been out of business, i had to open the ports on my router to get remote access to my nvr/cameras. Really prefer to use a cloud service.
