Hey Everyone! I am new here and just love all the reviews and endless amount of knowledge.
I am in the process of planning my system. Here is what a am looking for.
Front of my house i am looking at the Dahua SD52C225U-NHI.
Rear of my detached garage i am looking at either the SD49225T-HN or the SD59225T-HNI.
I am just not sure what NVR and poe switch would be best for me.
I would like to be able to monitor everything mostly from my android phone or my wifes iphone. We do have a laptop to get everything all setup and going.
The camera at the front of my house will be connected via cat5e or 6 cable to either the nvr or a poe switch. The camera on the back of my garage will also have to be connected to a poe switch in my garage as i have one underground cat6 cable from my house router to a sencond router in my garage already.
I guess my biggest questions.
-Can i have 2 poe switches, pretty much one for each camera for now, just due to their locations.
-what would be my best choice for NVR. I want to be able to set IVS triggers, eventually have audio on both cameras, push notifications etc. I also want to be able to control my ptz from my phone and review footage. Hope all this is possible.
I know i cant do everything from my phone and will need to open the lap top to do certain things.
