Hi,
The current setup is Dahua NVR5216-EI (16 channel NVR) with 16 port POE SWITCH.

I installed a NVR with the cameras, now I need to add 16 more cameras. The plan is to buy the same NVR & Switch.

My question is, how can I view them on one screen (since it will be displaying & connected to a large TV) ? I've read online for adding the NVR-2 on NVR-1 (via onvif & dhcp) but I don't know how that would work since I can't have more than 16 cameras at once on the screen.
Also will it be on 2 different devices on the DMSS App?
Thanks

2 NVRs and you can use SmartPSS Lite as a VMS on your computer and setup to view how ever you like. I would have to test the Lite as I have not used for a while but if it is like it used to be then you should be able to setup a view of 64 cameras per PC to 1 screen..

Then again DMSS same thing 2 Recorders but you can add in as many devices as you want to view on the app and scroll through them. But to be honest There is so much more you can do at the camera level that you can not do through the NVR so why not just add all the cameras even if only to access locally and setup the 2 NVRs as looking at the cameras while away. Then only 2 device remote. However issue is that if you have some cameras that have features that some NVRs might not offer. You are talking about one of the Ultra line NVRs so it might have most of the features but again I think some cameras with direct access to the DMSS might offer better things. Just have to setup so you know what you can access when away using the NVRs in 1 view and setup another view while local to work with cameras with direct connection..
