Hello. First post here.

I'm looking for a recommendation for a cheap and cheerful IP camera for use in a chicken coop. It needs to be
  • wireless
  • have night vision (ideally that can be turned on or off but not critical if it can't be)
  • 2Mp resolution is fine
It's for use in a fairly confined space, about 4ft square. So probably a fisheye would do, or something with a wide angle view. Intended use: checking remotely that the chooks are in at night and if there are any eggs to be collected.

Currently I'm using a Synology Surveillance Station for home security and can add a camera to that if it's compatible. What I don't need is anything with a high res and frame rate and monthly subscriptions to cloud services. Ideal if supported by Synology's software but willing to consider an open source alternative. Thanks for any advice. About to read the IPCamTalk Cliff Notes now.
