DS-2CD2032F-I Can this be done so far I have managed to set-up screenshots that upload straight into the folders but cant seem to get it to upload any video to my ftp. I wanted to get it to record 24 hrs to my my ftp with motion alerts if its possible.

Yeah, you can't FTP video; only images. Your only "video" option with FTP is to upload frequent snapshots and use software to combine the still frames into a video clip.
Probably easier to just keep a computer on to serve as a DVR and record the video directly to a drive, than to take the time to piece together thousands/millions of snapshots.

Yes got it set-up now as SMB motion detection thought ftp would be possible as I can do this with my foscam c1. Was raining last night and had many false calls day time seems to be more accurate on the detection nice picture on the cams.
