Remote access no longer working?

I've had remote access working fine for over a year now. Today it stopped working. Looking at the logs, the only thing I can see that's different from yesterday is my internal IP. I *did* upgrade Blue Iris yesterday, too, so I suspect that's the problem.

However, all the parts of the chain picked up the new IP correctly:

-- Blue Iris web server is correctly watching on my Internal IP, 192.168.1.199, on my correct port, 8091
-- My router is correctly port forwarding port 8091 to the correct internal IP
-- I turned all firewalls off just in case

Nothing. Going to myexternalip:8091 just times out, as if the port is closed.

Any ideas? Anyone else experiencing issues?

Check your firewall....reserve the IP in your router so it never changes

That's a good suggestion -- not the root of my issue, but a good idea moving forward.

It ended up being Norton, which blocked all port forwards in a recent patch. Re-installing Norton fixed the issue.

yes, i understand it was not the root of your problem...it was your firewall as suggested...also note that you must exclude blue iris program and storage folders from scans...
