Reolink and Amcrest

I have an Amcrest NVR and I contacted Amcrest and they said that Reolink cameras and Hikvision cameras will work with their NVRs. They could not guarantee that the auto tracking feature on the Reolink Trackmix would work with the NVR though.

Does anyone know if the PTZ and auto tracking features of the Trackmix will work using my Amcrest NVR?

No need to make multiple threads basically asking the same thing.

For best functionality, you should match NVR brand to camera brand.

For a PTZ, best to stay with same brand.

Stay away from Reolink.

Amcrest NVR with non-Amcrest cameras

Reolink is garbage. Stay away.
And yes, if you expect compatibility, you need to stay with the same brand of NVR and Cameras.

I would go with Amcrest and Hik before Reolink.
