How do I select direct to disk? As of now the reolink software saves it directly to my cdrive, is this what your asking?

That processor is very weak. Im surprised its working at all if you have more than 1 camera.
Direct to disk is as blue iris feature, you must use it with high res camera. Set it for EACH camera. camera properties >record>file format
This will dramatically reduce cpu utilization.

That i5 mini pc you were speaking of. Would this be ideal for a standalone nvr type setup? Or can you recomened a pc that I can use daily as well

Buy a dedicated system for any vms..dont use it for daily tasks.
