Repeated break ins to car

Looks like someone forgets to close their door and gets a lot of door checkers looking to steal from cars parked in the alley.

This Mercedes SUV owner must be a glutton for punishment. Or maybe he wants to lure in the bad guys so he can call the Police in for a live bust.

If the date/time stamps are accurate - none of these are weekends. These seem to be high school age boys. First 3 videos captured July/Aug so for a school kid every day/night is vacation time, but the last two were done during the school season (Monday morning 4:46am and Wednesday morning 12:46am). Trying to figure out a pattern but no.

Alarm does no good if you don't lock the doors. If the doors aren't locked, I have no pity on the owner.

I've just been reviewing various video captures I find online to get a better understanding of this space, and thought it was very curious why on earth this kept happening.

Wondering if it is a bait car of some sort or if the lock is broken....

I thought it was your neighbor. My bad. I think its just a case of someone that does not care. It's probably a $70,000 mercedes. Maybe they are hoping someone steals it.

Man that would have been cool if it was my neighbor, I'd have about 4-6 cameras on that alley and some great footage - say yes to youtube money! ;-)
