request: english 5.3.0 firmware for chinese 2xx2 cam

I feel like I have read 10k threads on this issue, I am hoping to consolidate the info into one post right here.

Could someone provide me with english language 5.3.0 firmware for a chinese 2xx2 camera?

I have a ds-2cd2032-i that absolutely will not work with gmail for any reason on 5.2.5. I have tried all 3 known ports (25,465,587) with ssl on and off - 100% failure rate.

I upgraded to 5.3.0 with chinese firmware and gmail worked! but i have issues with the other settings because, ya kno, its in chinese.

any help is appreciated. thank you.

In the forum downloads section here : R0 series DS-2CD2x32x-Ixx IP camera firmware
But the Chinese camera will 'brick' using the EN/ML 5.3.0 firmware.

I upgraded to 5.3.0 with chinese firmware and gmail worked! but i have issues with the other settings because, ya kno, its in chinese.

You could convert to EN and fully update using this method :
