wish i had a good look at this forum before pulling the trigger on this camera which worked out at 180euro with delivery.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00PIHN1SI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

looking at the forum and aliexpress i could have got 3 of these for the same money!(still can return the 2332 to amazon)
so my question is there any reason good i should'nt?
reason i didn't go for the 2335 was because it wasn't on the hikvision website so was weary of it

Everyone seems to be happy with the 2335 version from aliexpress. how do the two compare? and how well does the 2335 work in complete darkness(there are no streetlights out my way?

the thing to look out for seems to be the english firmware is there anything else or a recommended supplier?

i've got some of each.
the 2335 has a bit more plastic and feels a bit less solid, but works pretty much the same, including IR - which is good.
the 2335 supports h265, but i don't use it (with BI)
the 2335 does not support 60hz video (NTSC), but that shouldn't bother you in the UK (50hz/PAL)

Did you get English version? Those cheap ones @ ali are the not up gradable easily as English cams. In terms of performance/image quality they are virtually the same.

i didn't receive it yet so not sure if its english but assuming it is if it's of amazon
what problems would the lack of 60hz cause?

I heard you cant upgrade the chineese ones? or is it more problematic?

I cant see the 2332 being that much better than x3 2235 for nearly same price?

I ordered one nvr and one camera on Ali just a week ago and had to pay some 30 € tax on both. So maybe you'll get 2 instead of 3 for the price (first time I had to pay the tax). If you order by normal slow mail service instead of DHL or similar you rarely pay tax on it. But who wants to wait

And normally you'll never need to update the firmware. Although it's a nice feature to be able to have, but far from necessary. Keep looking more cameras are starting to sell as upgradable on Ali lately anyway.. And forget about the 60 hertz. You prefer pal 50hz since you live in europe

Probably a good choice. It seems popular at least if you see the number of orders it had ☺. If you will use them outdoors can you post some pictures of it later once you got it set up? Got interested in one as well.

received these today, only tested one, surprised with quality, very solid camera all metal, only one plastic bit the bezel around the camera where it sits flush to the roof, metal bracket. video quality seems to be great too.
Whats the best software to use with these? I heard blue Iris is the best but cant seem to find a cracked one anywhere? can anyone pm me the link that you have tested with? or any alternative ones?

you can run Blue Iris in demo mode for free for 15 days. at only $60 for full license, it's a steal in the surveillance software market...
