By the wya, You are using configtool to make the upgrade?
No, the cameras will be installed, and hooked up to the wiring panel.
I will make 1 vlan for the default dahua subnet and place port in vlan. Access the camere web page, renumber the camera to the required ip address and than change vlan of the port. So i can renumber them one at a time.

Here is sample video. Sorry for the bouncing daytime video, been very windy and my test rig is paying the price.

I am pleasantly surprised at how well it holds it's own at night.

The zoom into the mailbox is with digital zoom turned on and used.

There is a 5231ZE just to the left of the cam with it's IR on.
Plus the post lamp with 7.5w of LED light.

Will this camera track or PTZ on the action? If not which PTZ cams offer this feature? I recall an axis (sp?) cam about 2 years ago that tracked the action remarkably well.

Have you tested any of these pro series PTZ cams? Do you have a model number in mind?

Thanks!

SD22204T-GN with special booking, sd22204t-gn on the market is normal one.
Thanks. Is there any advantage to the new version of SD22204T-GN over 22204TNI ? Or vice versa? I wonder why Dahua wants multiple part numbers for the same camera...(?)

Yes. Thanks! I understand that. But I'm wondering how one controls the pan, tilt, and zoom functionality from withing the Blue Iris console.
@q If camera has PTZ enabled and you select the camera in BI console, then the PTZ control buttons can be found at bottom of screen. See screenshot below:

Q,

If you don't see PTZ control buttons above, right-mouse-button in main area of console and make sure PTZ controls is enabled:

Sorry, misunderstood.
Along with the above ways, if you maximize the cam pic, you can control by clicking on areas of the picture. Ex: Click near the right edge of pic, and cam will pan right. Hold mouse near center of pic, and zoom controls will appear.
