Whats the difference between SD22204UE-GN and SD22404T-GN
Probably the biggest are the SD22204UE-GN is 2 Megapixel, and the SD22404T-GN is 4 Megapixel. And, the sensor, the 2 MP is Starvis, and the 4 MP is not.
I went with the SD22204UE-GN and so far I like it very much. Same image at night as the older 5231's I have, with the ability to PTZ when needed, or triggered by an overlook cam.
Biggest takeaway is neither camera has IR internally, but for my purpose, street lights and external IR cover the area needed. Even though it's a new camera, Dahua did not incorporate the day/night switching profile into the firmware. That's a big disappointment to me. In the 5231 firmware, it makes all the difference when you can tune the profiles and the picture quality seems much improved, too.
