I got it working with the proper fps by limiting decoding

Do not use the limit decoding option. See wiki to understand what it does. the limit decoding option would not have any effect on whether the camera works or not in blue iris.

Thanks @EMPIRETECANDY. Andy I can confirm this upgrade went smooth on 1 of my 2831's. Will now continue to test and report back on the SD card fixes and if they solved the issue. As I mentioned in the FW thread, can you please speak with Dahua about raising the allowed bitrate to at least 15k for the 183/12831's as this really is needed due to the noisy codec ? Thanks !

@MikeyTech8, Thanks to @EMPIRETECANDY who has spoken to Dahua about this and hopeful it will be addressed / available in a FW update soon. Current bitrate in latest 04/04 FW is 11264 for reference.

Just did a bit more reading on the to be released 4MP cameras that at least for now appear to show promise. I’m betting on looney getting ahold of a few of these to test. Good things coming!

Seems that YT takes a bit longer to fully process uploads. It seems to continue for several minutes after they "say" it's finished processing.
Give it a few, and you should be able to select 4k.
