Should I remove the existing female RJ45 socket from the Dahua camera itself? I'm hoping the wires are color coded I can try splicing a new one in. It's getting POE from switch fine. But no data. I have it on my benchtop for testing.
If you open it up, you should check the surface mount capacitors for short(use the beep function and see if any of those caps is beeping).
In the past, I have managed to repair two cameras with shorted capacitors.

The SD49225XA-HNR is end of life, we will move to the SD49425XB-HNR, which still can support AT, but stock also limited.
Later the AT cheapest PTZ price will double, but badly lack of chips, so sorry for this.
Got my second SD49225XA-HNR camera today, thanks Andy. Took down my sd49225T HN, because it did not have auto tracking. I will move the non auto tracker to my tiny house in the country. Now I have two auto tracking and I'm loving it. I still need two get two more non PTZ for the back of the house, but I had to get this Auto Tracker before they were all gone. I just finished setting it up so i had to come back to this thread, it is so helpful thanks to wildcat_1.
In these scenes it shows the different night time scenarios with the 49225xa
and the tracking abilities during night lighting situations. More lighting is always recommended.
I just got this from Andy today, which firmware version has the auto tracking?
Current:
System Version V2.800.1341000.0.R.P9.2520.UN.NR, Build Date: 2020-03-12
WEB Version V3.2.1.819501
ONVIF Version 18.12(V2.4.5.729857)
PTZ Version V2.401.0000000.64.RHNZ_200219_34642
Then I must just be missing the setting somewhere.... I'll look back through the settings. I looked in the PTZ function menu but don't see the auto track like it looks in the menus posted in this thread.
