Got three of these ordered from Andy. I have two of the older 5442's inside my house. It will be interesting to see how these compare.

I don't see animals on the target filter list. Does this update lose the animal detection?
Yea, I really like the animal detection ... especially now that there's a Bobcat wondering around our neighborhood(!) ... so definitely don't want to lose that.
no, the animal detection still on it. This is what i tested with the latest new fw last month.

With this new Stay Detection are you able to run through the differences between the 3 rules that seem to do the same job?
Intrusion - Inside for X seconds.
Loitering for X seconds.
Stay for X seconds.
Or anyone else if you know?
I didn't seem to be able to get loitering to trigger so ended up using the Intrusion - Inside rule to do the job.

Andy, we talked a couple of nights ago about AI firmware improvements and I now see this update! Can you tell me more about what the Experience Database is and how it works? Thanks
Thanks Andy. From what I’ve been able to gather from searching online is loitering seems to require some sort of movement of the target. That might be why I’m not getting a trigger. The area I am trying to detect loitering in is quite a distance away so movement is not very visible to the camera.
