Review-I'll be the guinea pig for the new SD59225U-HNI PTZ.

is other port supposed to be :80 or just 80 (without comma)?

well that is madening because even when I set the discovery port to 80, I get no signal, check port/user/password.
Well I don't have that cam but it works on 2 dahua ptz's that I have, so thought it was worth a shot.

same firmware versions? Ive seen people do firmware updates and break the PTZ.. but it broke it in SmartPSS/WebUI, not specifically ONVIF.

I haven't done anything to the firmware and I really don't want to unless there is a really really compelling reason to. This is what I have.

for anyone else, I disabled onvif authentication in the camera and rebooted it, now when I run inspect I get this, and it auto changes the path and discovery port and stuff, but still shows no signal.

Thanks! I got it to work! @ldasilva what firmware version are you running? The version I have seems to be a little glitchly. Hopefully I can get the Auto tracking and line cross to work better tomorrow.
I have the non I model so it's a little different but shouldn't be by much

Here is an example of the auto tracking. I set it up as intrusion for the cul-de-sac.

Okay so I am playing with auto tracking, I tried tripwire and intrusion, the camera sees me and then just spins around in a circle, stops, and goes back to the preset, do I need to mess with the draw target thing at all? I tried rebooting the camera.

yeah you need to draw lines and define min/max size

Dahua has videos on YouTube showing how to set it up, didn't Andy post it a while back?

Maybe, if anyone has a link that would be awesome, I googled setting it up in general and found videos of people setting up auto tracking with dahua stuff but all of the settings were different so it wasn't much help.

Brb, gonna Google, dahua auto tracking setup.

The more and more I stay here, I don't know how nayr and fenderman keep their patience.....people either need to just pay someone to install this stuff or start learning to research. A lot of this stuff can be found faster with Google, then making a thread or post, and waiting for someone to do the work for them. I feel like an asshole asking for something that has already been posted and I miss it in a search.
