Instead of a set screw, in it's place it has a push button to release the shroud. The push button is finicky in getting it to release the shroud. When all assembled, the shroud does not hold the ball tight enough to prevent the cam from being moved. Overall, the camera is not nearly as secure as the metal base and metal shroud provides. This cam has a built-in mic and speaker, plus it has auxiliary audio in and outputs, that can be selected in firmware. It has built in wave files that can be triggers via events in the camera that play out the speaker.
