Hi there,

The problem being, when I run as a service it wont record to my sever... therefore no data
Been looking for answers and cant find any help!.
when this box is not ticked, it all works fine...

Also, how can I get the UI starting on its own, does this need to be up for the app/web access to work?

I used 3rd party software, delayed the start-up
Run the admin BI after 60 seconds, then the BI ui after 90 seconds
I tried this and worked first time, will probably work without the delay
Not run as a service
I did however have to make the pc login automatically, this may not be suitable for some

I had a different issue the other day but it involved blue iris being able to access a mapped network drive and got this response from support:

I am betting that this will fix your issue as well :)

That's interesting, might give it a go if I get bored or have an issue with my setup!

On a side note, the response got from support was to run as a service (which I clearly stated was the issue) - or record to a local drive
Not very helpful!

See the help file where it discusses recording to network storage.
