I would argue that IP cameras are excellent in low light conditions. Digital zoom, whether on an analog feed or a digital feed, does not work like you see on TV and in the movies. There is no "enhance" button in the real world, only in Hollywood courtesy of multiple cameras and the special effects department.
The biggest, and most significant difference IMHO, is that analog cameras are "real time" while Poe/digital cameras all have an inherent delay of a second or three.
These observations are based on my own, personal, experiences with analog and PoE systems.
